AirBnB and Camping

“If you're looking for a beautiful home that is off the beaten path, then this is the place for you. Here you'll be able to see all of the beauty than nature was intended to show. The crystal clear sky that is full of stars. The wonderful colors of truly unique sunsets. In addition, the owners are a wonderful couple with knowledge that you will not find in your traditional textbooks. It was an amazing experience and we are going to visit again…
-Michael, Airbnb guest review

“Gail and his wife are excellent hosts; both are welcoming and wonderful people. The campsite where I stayed was close to the entrance to the farm, but at the end of the day, the site became private, and I found myself cooking out under a dark, starry, Kansas sky. You hear the farm around you as it changes throughout the evening, night, and morning. The familiar sounds of the cows, sheep, and chickens give way after dark to the howls of coyotes in the distance and Gail's two protective sheep dogs warding them off. Then, of course, the rooster's crows in the morning twilight to tell you the day is beginning again. The farm itself is quite large, with ponds and hiking trails. The vegetation is diverse. Campers have convenient access to water, toilets, and a shower. Gail is one of today's thinking farmers, whose inventiveness and understanding of the ecology of farming has allowed him to join a small but growing group of regenerative farmers who work with the rhythms of nature to produce food. You witness an entire philosophy at work on this farm--compassion toward people, animals, and the soil make this place unique.”

Many of our Hipcamp and Airbnb guests tell us that disconnecting from devices and reconnecting with nature is the best thing they've done as a family in a long while. Nature is therapy!

We have ducks and chickens and all kind of interesting foul!

Lynnette Miller finds herding sheep to be the most relaxing thing she does at the start and end of every day.

This is the view of our little pond. The animals drink from it and our guests enjoy fishing here.

This is a view of our farm from the hill. Gail and I (and our guests) often hike up to enjoy the views. It's so peaceful and beautiful up there!

If you'd like to learn how to care for sheep using holistic management principles on a real regenerative farm, you may want to consider our apprenticeships. We teach what no one can teach you through book knowledge and the tuition is much lower!

There's nothing like feeding the animals! Kids love it and you won't see them reaching for their ipads... at least for a while!

Come eat breakfast in our commercial-grade kitchen with us and let us show you around!

Do you see sunsets like these in the city? Come visit us and take some pictures of your own!

I'm proud to be a shephardess. It is honorable work and I love feeding my customers food I know to be healthful for them.

In the summer, we have bees! Here, Lynnette Miller is checking on the bee hives.

Winter is beautiful in its own way. Our Airbnb stayed full almost all winter long!
